upskillable has recently participated in the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) event. Competing with 14 other startup companies in Saudi Arabia, we have qualified for the Entrepreneurship World Cup finals.
Over 1500 startups applied to participate in the competition from various industries and 6 of them have emerged victorious in the Saudi Arabia National Finals round.
14 of the Kingdom’s best startups competed against each other, pitching their business ideas during an interactive virtual event on Monday.
The core of the event involved the 14 finalists pitching for 3 minutes each, before answering 2 minutes of questions from the judges. The finalists were asked to present the goals of the company, along with what markets they target and what type of customers they expect.
As well as progressing to the Global Finals, each of the six winning Saudi startups was awarded with a prize money of $50,000.
Six Saudi startups that have made it to the Global Finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) are Talon Dust Control, Edama Organic Solutions, BrightSign, upskillable, PereGrine Genomics, and Miqyas.
upskillable is thankful to the EWC foundation for allowing it to participate in such a grandiose event and allowing it to get its idea across. Also, we are also thankful to all the people who loved our idea and the cause we are working for and voted for us. We’re excited to participate in the global round and bring glory for the region.
